We ask you to consider annual membership with the JEC to help support and further its mission. Funds we receive from membership fees help to finance projects as diverse as public demonstrations of Japanese Embroidery, the lectures deliver to worldwide audiences, preservation of Center facilities, Young Students’ Class, and the World Exhibition. Most Importantly, your membership will help preserve and perpetuate Japanese culture and ensure that Japanese Embroidery remains a vital, living tradition. In addition to helping support the JEC, your membership, or that of your business or corporation, is TAX-DEDUCTIBLE (US ONLY), and includes the following additional benefits.

The Japanese Embroidery Center was founded in 1989 as a nonprofit educational organization to promote and preserve the art, heritage and culture of Japanese embroidery through the pursuit of Nuido, “The Way of Embroidery.” Our membership has grown from 16 countries, including the United States, Japan, United Kingdom, France, Canada, Germany, Australia and Mexico. However, in order to showcase these intricate works of art to the world and share the art through our classes, we need your help. We are depending on leaders like you to help us preserve and share the ancient art of Nuido™with the world .
